About Dark Realm ReviewDark Realm Review is the brain child of our editor in chief, Brian Jackson.
For years Brian submitted stories to non-paying online ezines and was too often frustrated by rejection. After suggesting that a PDF based mag in which he had been published go HTML, Brian created a prototype page and by so doing found out just how simple it is to publish your own HTML based magazine. Wait a second, Brian thought. Why am I submitting to non-paying online magazines when I could be running one? Further investigation pointed Brian to the fact that such an ezine could easily pay for itself by embedding advertisements on its pages. But where to find content. Wait a second, I'm a writer, Brian thought. And besides, I know lots of writers and artists. I wonder if they're as fustrated as I am getting their material seen? Born was Dark Realm Review, an online magazine dedicated to providing the best in horror and suspense literature and art while generating a little pocket change on the side. If you're interested in beefing up your publishing credentials, consider submitting a story or pictures to our magazine for publication. You'll be provided with a link you your work as a reference and the work will continue to be owned by you. See our Submissions Page for additional information on submitting to Dark Realm Review.
